I thought the blue in this rusted out fly wheel brought it to life.

If a Butterfly Sees it's shadow...
There was a very short window of opportunity to snag a picture of this butterfly on the door of our gazebo. Obviously, it's time to paint again!

Modern Relic
This may look old but I actually tool this photo just a couple of weeks ago. I pass this garage (and car) every day on my way to and from work. I managed to snag this photo in a rare moment when the old car is not surrounded by more modern models. Can't wait to use this for some painting inspiration!

Mini Rock World
I was recently in Turks & Caicos and took hundreds of photos on my walks and sea kayaking excursions. I thought it was so interesting the way the rocks were etched...mini worlds in themselves.

Lincoln Road
I've had an art blog for a while now but never really posted any of my photos. I love texture and this shows up in my painting and mixed media work but also in my photos. I spend a lot of time looking at the ground! Here is a picture I took while walking down Lincoln Road in Miami recently.
